Job shop type position, making small quantities of prototype and tool & die parts, using a wide variety of machines in our shop. We will train the candidate to run the OMAX waterjet and Sodick wire EDM. Eventually the job could also entail digitizing parts with our portable laser scanner, reverse engineering them and then manufacturing the replacement parts.
We are willing to consider recent graduates from a qualified tool & die or machining program as well as more experienced individuals. Applicants must have:

• Self-motivation and ability to work independently or in a group
• Ability to communicate with supervisors and customers
• Ability to operate all of the standard machine tool equipment
• Ability to program CNC manually and with CAD/CAM software
• Ability to read prints and CAD files and make some adjustments to those files
• Strong mechanical skills
• Strong math skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to lift 70 lbs
• Desire to participate in continued training
