Wagner Machine Company is a leading manufacturer of precision machined parts. We’re seeking a dynamic, results driven professional who can sell our services. This person will build customer relationships on a foundation of technical problem solving and excellent communication. Wagner’s ideal candidate will have technical skills as well as sales experience. But both are not required IF you have the drive to succeed.

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Accountable leader who will perform to agreed upon standards and Wagner core values
  • Recognize and understand customer needs and sell appropriate solutions
  • Communicate prices, capabilities, risks, opportunities, and lead times with honesty and integrity
  • Lead collaboration between sales, quality, and production teams to ensure thorough documentation and guarantee customer expectations are met
  • Participate in occasional manufacturing trade shows and other industry events to represent our company and generate new leads
  • Generate and close business with integrity


  • Minimum of 3 years of engineering or machining experience, preferably in a precision machining or other advanced manufacturing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of machining processes and techniques
  • Advanced understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and GDT
  • Ability to work and excel in a team environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Due to ITAR compliance, applicants must be US Citizen or valid green card holder
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, drug-screen, and background check

Stand-Out Qualifications

  • Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD - We use DraftSight and SolidWorks, but any experience is good
  • CNC machining experience
  • Experience with ERP and CRM software
  • Previous sales experience
  • Experience in a LEAN Manufacturing or 5S setting
  • Experience in an ISO9001 or AS9100D certified business
